Drunken Teen Crashed Into Convenience Store: Police

A 17-year-old 'narrowly missed the gas pumps and a store employee," according to a police report.

The Pennsylvania State Police announced that it was a Red Hill teenager who crashed into the Turkey Hill Convenience Store on May 27, allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance.

As reported previously on Patch, the driver failed to stop at a red light on Sixth Avenue and Main Street and traveled through the intersection, into the store.

According to a recent press release from the PSP, the teen narrowly missed the gas pumps and a store employee who was cleaning the outside of the store.

After an investigation, police believe that the teen was under the influence of a controlled substance and was charged with DUI and other summary offenses in Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
