PSP Trooper Derik Frymire was following Labor, who was driving a 2008 Honda Civic just before 7 p.m., when Labor failed to stop at a red light at 130 W Main Street in Trappe and made a right turn at a “no turn on red” traffic sign into the shopping center, police said.

When the officer attempted to initiate at traffic stop, Labor sped up, and “recklessly traveled” across multiple parking spaces in an attempt to flee, police said.

Labor's two passengers were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and both reported injuries; one was transported to Paoli Hospital for unknown interior pains and head wounds, police said.

The vehicle was uninsured, and Labor did not have a license, according to police.

Labor has been charged with causing a vehicle crash that caused injury and damage to property while not properly licensed, fleeing the scene, driving without a license, reckless driving, and other summary offenses.

The incident is a violation of Labor’s probation, according to police.  In 2010, Labor pleaded guilty to breaking into a structure and simple assault. Labor is also facing two counts of statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, and indecent assault to a person younger than 16 based on an incident in May of 2012.
