I moved to Montgomery County in 2003 to attend Arcadia University where I majored in English and minored in Creative Writing while also dabbling in Journalism, photography, website editing and design, as well as videography. I graduated in May of 2007 with my B.A. in English, but after a year away from school and working in restaurants I decided to return to Arcadia to pursue my M.A. in English and subsequently, my M.A. in Humanities. I finished my Master’s degree in English this past May and will be continuing with my Humanities degree in the fall.

My interest in Journalism began in the sixth grade when I joined the school newspaper and has only grown through my participation with my high school, and college papers. In my spare time I write poetry and fiction, which have both been featured in Arcadia’s Literary magazine, and I travel taking advantage of the many photo opportunities that live in the state parks and historical attractions that Pennsylvania has to offer.

I currently live in Hatfield with my two dogs, and while I do not get to see my family very often as they still reside in New Jersey, the friends that I have made since I have moved here have been like a second family to me; providing support, sharing the joy of each other’s successes and milestones, and supplying me with an endless amount of laughter and love.
