Laurie Devers, Neighbor

My name is Laurie Devers and I've lived in Skippack for the last 10 years.  There have been some big changes in the area since I moved here with my husband, eleven month old son, and  a nice round baby belly in November 2000. Having lived in Philadelphia as a twenty-something and in the more populated suburbs after getting married , I remember thinking to myself as we prepared to move, ' where in the world are we going!' It seemed like a long drive west on Germantown Pike. Now I can't believe all this area has to offer our family of four ( five, if you include our cat Pooty). I'll be blogging about family life and the enormous amount of well-planned, often times humorous chaos it entails. I may even throw in a few money saving ideas or some reviews of favorite places and things to do. Thanks for joining me and I hope we can share more than a few laughs together!
