As the nation's pharmacies start to run short on the proper flu vaccine, those in the Perkiomen Valley have hope. According to an article in the Lansdale Reporter, the North Penn Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) has a bountiful supply of the vaccine and is offering them to the public. The zip codes of Schwenksville, Skippack and Spring Mount are serviced by the North Penn VNA. "According to VNA spokesperson Theresa Humphreys, as of Wednesday morning the VNA still had 'several hundred flu shots available for the community,'" said the article.
