These three businesses are coming soon to Providence Town Center in Collegeville.
Red Robin, opening on this summer on July 15, will open next to Eastern Mountain Sports. The Lite Choice, a low fat, low calorie and kosher ice cream and frozen treat shop, will open on Market Street, across from the Movie Tavern. Sublime Cupcakes will open at 141 Market Street, next to The Lite Choice, this summer.

The chain is slated to open its 20th restaurant in Collegeville this summer.
The Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group (LVRG) broke ground on its new Collegeville Red Robbin Thursday at the Providence Towne Center in Collegeville. This restaurant marks the 20th Red Robin location. LVRG joined Upper Providence Township officials held a “ground-breaking” ceremony to begin construction on the inside of the existing building, which is 7,769 square feet and will seat 288 guests. It will be the largest Red Robin in the area, and will include a fireplace and a year-round patio that connects to a meeting and party room. The restaurant is scheduled to open on July 15.

Zoës Kitchen, a Mediterranean-inspired, fast-casual restaurant, is opening its first Pennsylvania location in the Providence Towne Center, and is holding a grand opening Thursday. The 12-time All-Star catcher stopped at the Towne Book Center Feb. 13 to sign copies of his new book, ‘Long Shot.'
Hundreds of fans stood in a winding line along the perimeter of the Towne Book Center on Feb. 13 for a chance to meet a local baseball hero, Mike Piazza, who is in town signing his new book “Long Shot.” Bernie Schneider, a local resident, brought his son A.J. to meet Piazza, who was born in Norristown and grew up in Phoenixville. Schneider talked to Piazza about playing together in local baseball leagues in the mid-1980s, and showed the Hall of Fame hopeful a photo of A.J.’s room, decked out in Mets apparel and a big picture of Piazza “He said he really liked the fields we used to play at in Skippack,” Schneider said. Governor Rendell will new promote his first book at the Providence Town Center from noon- 2 pm this Saturday
Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell will hold a book signing event on Aug. 25 at the Towne Book Center, formerly the Trappe Book Center, to promote his book "A Nation of Wusses: How America's Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great." Rendell, who has stopped in the area previously to promote the book, will visit the book store, located in the Providence Town Center, from noon to 2 pm to meet with fans and sign books. Area residents having been taking in food and films under one roof at Providence Town Center's newest addition.
Movie Tavern is making date night easier. Want to go to a dinner and a movie? You can do both at the Movie Tavern. The Collegeville theater marks the 15th location for the business, said Karen Sibley, Movie Tavern’s director of marketing. To commemorate the opening, the theater will have a grand opening celebration Saturday, July 30. Festivities begin at 1 p.m. and include tours of the theater and movie-themed giveaways, along with trivia contests. The theater will also have Sherry Lynn, a local country singer, perform, Sibley said. From 2 to 4 p.m., WXTU will be playing country music and holding trivia contests to entertain visitors. Fans of all ages, races, shapes and dress choices lined up for the midnight showing.
Hundreds of fans. Ten years, eight films. Seven books. It all came down to one night as area residents flocked to Collegeville's Movie Tavern for the midnight showing of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2," the final film outing for the monster franchise. All eight screens in the Tavern were showing the movie in 2-D and 3-D; viewers who wanted to take the film journey from the beginning showed up for Potterwatch, which kicked off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Staffers donned ties and round glasses like the eponymous hero, but one server really got into the spirit with a head-to-toe Voldemort costume.
