Trappe Tavern Cook Dies in Car Crash
Services for Ian Jerdon will be held Saturday, March 17.
Ian Jerdon, 22, of Harleysville, died in a one-vehicle car crash in Lederach on Monday, March 12, 2012 (Source). According to a Reporter article, Lower Salford Township Police Corporal Cory Moyer "said at 2:30 a.m. Monday (Ian) was traveling northbound on Cross Road, and 'for whatever reason, failed to properly negotiate the curve at Cross Road and Bergey Mill Road.'" The vehicle crashed into pine trees and caught fire, the article states. According to his Facebook page, he was a Souderton Area High School graduate, and he was most recently working as a cook for the Trappe Tavern.
