A Towamencin man was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia and possessing an offensive weapon in relation to a DUI stop in Lower Salford, according to court records. A Pennsylvania State Police report states that Jesse Alexander, 31, was driving a green 1996 Chevrolet pick up at the intersection of Freeman School and Salfordville Roads in Lower Salford Township on Dec. 29 at 2:22 a.m. when he was stopped for vehicle code violations. According to police, Alexander allegedly exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Upon searching his vehicle, police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two metal expanding batons, which are considered offensive weapons. The last basic life support ambulance company in the county will become an advanced life support company by the end of January, thanks to a partnership with medics from Harleysville EMS
On Jan. 29, a legacy will end in Montgomery County lifesaving. Community Ambulance Service of Green Lane is the last remaining ambulance company in the county that operates as BLS, or Basic Life Support. Soon, with a partnership with Harleysville Area Emergency Medical Services, Community Ambulance Service of Green Lane will be an Advanced Life Support company. Harleysville Area EMS (Station 344) will partner a paramedic from its corps with an Emergency Medical Technician from Community Ambulance Service of Green Lane (Station 328) — therefore becoming ALS. A Philadelphia-area man and woman are facing charges this month after police say they passed fraudulent checks and made withdrawals at more than half a dozen banks in Bucks and Montgomery counties, including one in Plymouth Meeting. Plymouth Police have charged both Dae Woo, 55, of Harleysville, and Young Miller, 57, of Philadelphia, with 26 criminal counts that include felony forgery and theft by deception. In an affidavit of probable cause, police say they were first approached by a TD Bank corporate investigator, who had uncovered the alleged scheme, in late November. Update Monday, Dec. 3 Lower Salford Police have identified the driver killed in an accident in Harleysville Friday afternoon as Christopher Detweiler, 42, of the 100 block of Morris Road, Lower Salford. Earlier Story A Harleysville resident died as a result of a one-car crash on Quarry Road near Stover Road Friday afternoon. According to Breaking News Network, one person was trapped in a vehicle. A driver was rescued from a vehicle, and flown by Mid-Atlantic MedEvac 3, according to BNN. According to The Reporter, the driver was flown to Hahnemann Hospital, but did not survive injuries sustained from the crash. A 3rd party negotiator can be invaluable to the success of a short sale. Good 3rd party negotiators have established relationships with many banks. They know the in’s and out’s of how to best handle each individual short sale which is unique with respect to the seller’s situation and their bank’s requirements. The process gets even more complex when there are two loans (a first mortgage and a second mortgage) with two different banks. While the seller’s agent may be able to negotiate directly with the bank, a good 3rd party negotiator who specializes in short sales will often produce the best results for the buyer (i.e. approval at the most favorable terms and in the shortest amount of time).
