Vikings Going Pink to Battle Cancer
Perkiomen Valley battled more than the Falcons in a Pac-10 pink event
As the Vikings trotted onto the turf at Thomas J Keenan Stadium on Friday night, a foe far more imposing than the Pottsgrove Falcons was in the Perkiomen Valley community's sights. The event hosted an effort to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Coach Reed's squad, the PV Football club and the more than 500 people, in attendance had targeted in their collective sights, In a pre-game ceremony, cancer survivors and their families were welcomed to the track to be honored as a moment of silence was shared by all for those who have been lost to the dreaded disease.
