Collegeville Farmers' Market Moving to Da Vinci's

The market, set to open May 4, will have a new home.

  The Collegeville Farmers' Market, which spent last season in the parking lot behind the AmeriGreen Gas Station on the 400 block of E. Main Street, will be moving down the street to the Da Vinci's Pub parking lot when it reopens on May 5. According to Collegeville Main Street Manager Rachael Morrison, who reported to Collegeville Borough Council at its Feb. 6 meeting, a local dentist that allowed the Farmers’ Market to use his parking spots is beginning Saturday morning house that conflict with the market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will be held in the same area as last spring's Collegeville Art and Music Festival, which will provide natural shade for some of the vendors.
