Patch asked our readers for love stories on Valentine's Day, and Heather Montgomery said she didn't have a Valentine in 2003, because her now-husband didn't want to be ‘cliché.’
Heather Montgomery shared the story of her relationship with husband Matt, which started in Wisconsin after Valentine’s Day in 2003. Heather and Matt Montgomery met at Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wis., where they worked together cleaning the dining hall at least four nights per week. The pair quickly became best friends. “We started dating just after Valentine’s Day in 2003,” Heather said. “He waited until after because he thought it would be too cliché to ask me out on Valentine’s Day, but I was a little perturbed that he left me without a Valentine.” Heather forgave Matt, though. “He’s made every Valentine’s Day amazing since then,” Heather said. New app, KillSwitch, launches on Feb. 14.
Just in time for the most romantic day of the year, KillSwitch launches in the App Store and GooglePlay today, Feb. 14. According to Mashable, KillSwitch "makes it easy to eliminate your ex's entire presence on your Facebook timeline," however, you must still be Facebook friends with your ex. Identify the Facebook user from your friends list and the "app then crawls your profile for content." You can choose to delete all status updates, photos, videos, everything of your ex or just specific posts and pictures. Brass knuckles, a loaded gun and duct tape were among the items found with a Valentine from a husband to his wife, allegedly threatening 39 kinds of violence.
Roses are red. Violets are blue. A restraining order, might be good for you two. A Perkiomenville man was arrested according to the Morning Call last week. His long list of charges stem from an event of "stalking" his wife, according to Emmaus Police. Flint Andrew Staton, 30, of Perkiomenville, was reportedly following his wife to work to deliver his "Valentine." The problem? His Valentine card allegedly came complete with descriptions of violence. According to the Inquisitr.com, the Valentine's Day card had 39 "pieces of paper depicting various forms of violence and killing." The card was entitled "A Promise for My Wife." Men's shopping parties and fun ways to spend a romantic evening.

Montco Mommy doesn't need tons of fuss this holiday
Do you watch “The Middle” on ABC? I love it. I loved it more this week, when Mom Frankie and Dad Mike sit down to explain to their youngest son Brick what love is, by highlighting their Valentine’s Day plans for him (while taking down the Christmas tree, mind you). The couple goes back and forth on options of going out to eat (too crowded), the movies (they could sleep at home for free), so decide on a bucket of chicken on the couch on their sweats.
