Teen Cited After Schwenksville Crash

Schwenksville man was allegedly driving at an unsafe speed.

  An 18-year-old Schwenksville man was cited for driving his vehicle at unsafe speeds after a crash that injured one passenger on Mine Hill Road on Jan. 28, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Daulton J. Polito was traveling eastbound on Mine Hill Road approaching its intersection with Highland Ave at 9:09 a.m. when he swerved, striking a pole with his 2000 Honda Civic, police say. Lower Frederick Regional Ambulance transported a 16-year-old female passenger, of Schwenksville, to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center for minor injuries, according to police. The other passenger, 21-year-old Jeffery Limone from Trappe, was not injured. Polito was cited for driving violating vehicle code 3361 – Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Lansdale Teen Injured, Cited after Skippack Crash

The one-car crash occurred on Evansburg Road, just South of Kratz Road.

  A Lansdale teen has been cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed after causing a crash on Evansburg Road in Skippack Township, in which he suffered minor injuries, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The 1997 BMW, driven by the 17-year-old boy and owned owned by Elizabeth Iacovetti of Lansdale, was heading North on Evansburg Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle at a left curve just before Kratz road, accord to police. The car hit a tree and ditch before rolling onto its roof, police said. The teen was wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries; a cell phone was present but was not in use.
