Officials were on hand to cut the ribbon - and an over-sized loaf of bread - on Friday afternoon.

Local officials joined Collegeville Italian Bakery staff and customers to celebrate the new dining room addition, which will now let fans of the bustling deli enjoy their sandwiches on site. State Senator John Rafferty and State Representative Mike Vereb were on hand to help cut the ribbon – and a loaf of bread – to celebrate the occasion. Trappe …

Only suggestion for owners might be to ask their 7 yr old relative in dining room to please quiet down a bit so folks could enjoy their own meals & …   more ›

Kratz is the Perkiomen Township representative to the LPVRSA, which provides wastewater treatment to Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Perkiomen and Skippack Townships, and Collegeville and Trappe Boroughs. “Outsiders are trying to get involved in this and be helpful,” Kratz said during the meeting August 7 Perkiomen Township Board of Supervisors meeting. “All it does is cause more confusion than we already have.” The letter, which was obtained on Tuesday exclusively by the …
