Skippack’s Castle Academy Says 'Hoodie Hoo' to Winter [Video]
Students from the early childhood learning center did a dance in hopes of an early spring.
Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring when he didn’t see his shadow earlier this month, but students from Castle Academy took things into their own hands at noon Wednesday, in hopes to get rid of the cold winter. Students participated in Northern Hemisphere “Hoodie Hoo” Day, created by Wellcat.com, which is meant to “chase away winter and bring in Spring,” according to Castle Academy owner Tracy Castle. Wellcat.com says that “Hoodie Hoo” Day is one of a ways to cure cabin fever during the wintry months, and to beat the cold-weather blues. "Hoddie Hoo" Day rules state that all participants must head outside at high noon on Feb. 20, no matter the temperature, wave their arms and shout "hoodie hoo" to winter. So dozens of Castle Academy…
