In honor of National Pet Month, Skippack Animal Hospital held a Facebook photo contest.
To celebrate National Pet Month, the Skippack Animal Hospital held a pet contest, recognizing three cutest pets in the area. Lucy the Bullmastiff won first place, Butters the Cocker Spaniel took home second place, and Ty the Bengel won third place in the contest. For photos of the winners, click here.

Six puppies, and one cat, are available.
Several Boxer and Hound mixes are available for adoption at Skippack Animal Hospital from Harley’s Haven, according to a Facebook Post. Sapphire, Amber, and Ruby, females, and Jasper, Onyx, males, were born on Feb. 22 and are spayed or neutered. Snickers, a male Lab mix, was born in January and is not neutered. A cat, Nicko, is also available for adoption. He was born in November of 2012, and is neutered. For more information on the puppies, click here.

This cat went missing from Serendipity Way in Skippack on Tuesday.
According to the Skippack Animal Hospital, Clyde the cat went missing on Tuesday on Serendipity Way in Skippack. Clyde is an all-black cat with yellow eyes, Skippack Animial Hospital said in a Facebook post. He is “very friendly and loves to play,” the post says. Anyone who sees him is asked to call Skippack Animal Hospital at 610-584-6300.

The veterinary center shared photos of dogs looking for homes.
The Skippack Animal Hospital shared six dogs looking for “forever homes” on Tuesday. The following dogs were born in December of 2012: Biggie, a male lab mix Journey, a female hound mix Lil’ Wayne, a male lab mix Snoop Dog, a male lab mix Tripp, a male hound mix Harley’s Haven brought the dogs to the animal hospital. “Harley's Haven is a small rescue with a big mission: to save as many homeless dogs as possible,” says the group’s Facebook page. “Every day so many dogs are put to sleep, even just in the city of Philadelphia, and every dog that we can find a wonderful home for is one less that will end up in the shelter. Skippack Animal Hospital is now home of WagMoreNextDoor, a new doggy daycare that offers both socialization and obedience training for dogs of any breed, age or size. The day care is designed for families who are not able to be at home with their dogs during the day, and provides an outlet for energy that could otherwise manifest into destructive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous behavior.
