The Pennsylvania State Police is charging a Pottstown man in relation to an early-morning Perkiomen Township Crash on Jan. 23, and is investigating a report of criminal mischief in Perkiomen. One-Vehicle Crash A Pottstown man will be charged for driving his vehicle at unsafe speeds after he lost control of his 2005 Toyota Tacoma and crashed into a tree on Meyers Road at the area of Raleigh Road in Perkiomen Township, according to police. A PSP report states that Richard Alan Russ, 50, was traveling northbound on Meyers Road at 5:45 a.m. on Jan. 23 when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the southbound lane and struck a tree.
