Perkiomen Child Porn Possessor Pleads Guilty

Detectives allege that video files depicting sexual assaults on toddlers were found in the 22-year-old man's computer.

Richard John Lovett, 22, has admitted to posessing child pornography on his home computer in Perkiomen Township, according to a report from Main Line Media News. Lovett, of the 400 block of Rahns Road, pleaded guilty in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas to felony charges of sexual abuse of children-possessing child pornography, for which he faces 3.5 to seven years in prison According to court records, Lovett was charged in 2012 with two counts of disseminating photos or films of child sex acts, nine counts of child pornography, and one count of criminal use of communication facility. County detectives began an investigation on Lovett when his computer address was identified as a potential download source during a search of child…

Hi Anne - the question is if he will be deemed a Sexually Violent Predator, as opposed to just a sexual predator. That means a lifetime registration on the sex offender registry. Perkiomen Man's Stolen Identity Used for Nose Job

Cosmetic surgery photos led State Police to the identity thief, who faces five years of probation and must pay $6,000 in restitution.

A Philadelphia man is facing a five-year probation sentence after stealing a Perkiomen man's identity and opening a credit card to fund a nose job - photos of which eventually got him nabbed by the Pennsylvania State Police - according to Phillyburbs.com. Police began the investigation when a Perkiomen man reported that he was being hounded for a $6,000 debt that he claimed never to have incurred. The debt was tracked to a cosmetic surgeon who charged a 2008 surgery on a credit card that was fraudulently opened in the victim's name. The surgeon was able to provide pre-surgery photos of the suspect, which were then matched to the Pennsylvania Driver's License of Randy R. Clinkscales, 27.
