Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Perkiomen Crash

The incident occurred on Gravel Pike at Plank Road Tuesday morning.

  A 26-year-old Norristown woman was injured during a Tuesday morning crash on Gravel Pike at Plank Road, in which a Schwenksville woman allegedly failed to stop at a marked stop sign, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Gladys Molina, of Schwenksville, was turning left on to Gravel Pike from Plank Road in her Volvo S60 when she struck Marilyn Steckiel, 26, of Norristown, who was riding a Honda Interceptor motorcycle, around 7:30 a.m. according to police. Steckiel was thrown from her motorcycle and landed in the southbound lane of Gravel Pike; Molina went on to strike a tree and came to a rest in the southbound shoulder of Gravel Pike, police said. Perkiomen Crash Caused by Pottstown Teen, Police Say

The incident occurred on Rt. 73 near Haldeman Road.

  A Pottstown teen will be cited following a Perkiomen Township Crash in which a male passenger was injured, according to the Pennsyvlania State Police. On Feb. 4 at 12:37 a.m., a 19-year-old Pottstown woman and two 20-year-old male passengers, from Pottsown and Royersford, were traveling west on Rt. 73 when the driver lost control of the vehicle at a left curve and struck a concrete bridge rail and spun multiple times, coming to a stop in the westbound lane. The Royersford man suffered minor injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Norm’s Save Station, and a citation will be filed in District Court, according to police.
