Generally speaking and not referring to the above incident, local government agencies ("LGA") are immune from civil liability. One exception is that a LGA is responsible only for a dangerous street condition that it knew or should have known about. Further, an injured person would need to prove the dangerous condition caused or contributed to the collision. Lastly, a permanent injury most likely …   more ›

Hi Al, I have eaten at both also, and have done some work for Mickey. The rumor of them moving to Collegeville is a little premature from what I was told yesterday. Rachael should have waited to have her FACTS in order before she opened her mouth to council in Collegeville. This seems to be the norm for people in Collegeville.Either way they will still be close by. I did hear that the origanal …   more ›

So far these so-called improvements are already looking hap hazard and shoddy. Come and inspect this Chutes And Ladders mess they call line work. There are globs of paint excess and the work has a double and sometimes triple over spray. If they call this an improvement, I can not wait to see what other projects in town get screwed up. I can tell you a place where the lines are straight and neat …   more ›

Leahy-What was it about my post that you didn't understand ? Reread it and I think you'll see that my main beef with the students is that many (not all) feel as if they can walk across Main St. with NO regard for oncoming traffic. For being in the midst of a college education, I've witnessed many ridiculously stupid attempts at crossing Main St by these students. When you were young, didn't your …   more ›
