Patch asked our readers for love stories on Valentine's Day, and Heather Orlandini told us about her husband, Harry, who she danced with at her senior prom.
Heather Orlandini shared the story of how she met her husband, Harry, in high school. Harry and Heather Orlandini met during their senior year of high school, and got to know each other during Study Hall. Heather still remembers their first dance, “Hold on to the Night” at prom in 1996, and they spent their senior weeks looking for each other in Ocean City, Md. – they finally caught up to each other the night before the week ended, and they have been together ever since. “We met when I was 17 years old and, that day on the beach, I knew,” Heather said. “I knew that we would be together for the rest of our lives. “He is everything that I have ever looked for in a man; kind, generous, funny, romantic, loyal, reliable, and hard working. Kamin Personett of East Greenville shared the story behind his Valentine, wife Pam. "I met my amazing wife, Pam, in high school at Perk Valley," Personett said. After getting to know each other over a weekend at Penn State with her family, Personett had the "butterflies, big time." "I remember telling my best friend that I had this crazy-fun weekend with her but 'who knows if it will go anywhere else,' Personett said. The pair had their first kiss 16 years ago on Valentine's Day in 1997, and they've never looked back. "Married 11 years now with 4 kids and she's still my high school sweetheart and best friend," Personett said. "Sharing life's journey with her is the greatest.
