Garden at Greenwald Flower Tent Finding Success in Collegeville
In a response seasonal flower tents popping up in parking lots, one Collegeville florist created her own in support of year-round, local business.
Jenny Greenwald of Greenwald Plant and Flower Workshop opened The Garden at Greenwald, a flower tent outside of her Main Street business, earlier this month to offer a “home-grown alternative to the flower tent guy” – and she has found much success. “The response to the Garden at Greenwald tent has been amazing,” Greenwald, who operates both businesses out of 360 Main Street, said. “We have had to restock on our amazing locally grown hanging baskets 3 times already!" Greenwald said that customers are also enjoying the herbs and vegetable plants, and she plans to plant a vegetable garden on Main Street.
