The Goddard School Donates to The Nottage Project

Students raised money and purchased books for the Collegeville-based charity.

  The Schwenksville Goddard School recently hosted its spring Scholastic Book Fair.  The Scholastic Book Fair strives to promote literacy and one way they do this is through the One for Books program.  Scholastic matches the monetary donations that schools generate, with a donation of up to one million books to three national non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need: Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., the Kids In Need Foundation, and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The students at The Goddard School in Schwenksville participated in a classroom coin challenge during their week long book fair.  The students raised $101 from their loose change challenge!  Scholastic in turn donated 101 books to children …

Glad you clicked on our new Grab and Go Kids Planner! We've assembled a weekly calendar of child-friendly activities and new places to try out with children. Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.
