Montco Man Caught in $3.5 Million Meth Operation

Pottstown man is among 27 suspects charged in “Operation Blowout,” which uncovered a crystal methamphetamine ring stretching from Mexico to Pennsylvania.

A four-year undercover investigation has resulted in the indictment of a Montgomery County man, as well as 26 other people, suspected of links to a crystal methamphetamine trafficking operation that stretched from Mexico and Texas and took root in Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, Lehigh and Tioga counties. Officials believe that the large network is responsible for the distribution of more than $3.5 million worth of crystal meth in southeastern and northern Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. Snyder, 53, of Pottstown, is charged with two counts of participating in a corrupt organization, 20 counts of delivery of a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy, unlawful use of a communications facility, …

Former Cop Busted on Meth Distribution Charges

Jack Pennington retired from the Norristown Police Department as a Detective Sergeant in 1995. He was arrested Tuesday at the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

An Upper Merion man and former 28-year veteran of the Norristown Police Department was arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges related to the distribution of methamphetamine and illegal bookmaking, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office announced Thursday. Jack Pennington, who retired from the police department in 1995, was taken into custody at the Plymouth Meeting Mall after an alleged exchange that included three ounces of crystal methamphetamine and almost $7,000 in cash, according to the criminal complaint filed by county detective James Vinter.  When he was arrested, Pennington was allegedly found to be in possession of his "retired" Norristown Police badge and $9,470 in cash. Misdemeanor Drug Charges Remain Against Royersford Man in Meth Bust Case

Felony charges of criminal use of a communications device were withdrawn at a preliminary hearing for Donald Preston

Two felony charges of criminal use of a communications device were withdrawn against Donald Preston of Royersford at his preliminary hearing Monday morning before District Judge Andrea Duffy of Montgomeryville. Preston has been charged for his alleged involvement in a multi-county methamphetamine trafficking ring, in which 32 suspects were arrested in May. Preston faces the following charges from Dec. 14, 2011, at his Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas arraignment on August 1: Preston's bail was set May 4 at $75,000 unsecured, meaning if he fails to show up in county court he is responsible for that money. Preston was one of the last two suspects to be arraigned in their alleged connection with the methamphetamine trafficking ring …

Wiretaps Lead To Bust Of Local Meth Operation

A total of 32 suspects were arrested in connection with a methamphetamine distribution network which spanned from northern Montgomery County to Philadelphia.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman has announced the arrest of 32 suspects in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking operation, which spanned from northern Montgomery County to Philadelphia and included 12 residents of Lansdale Borough and Hatfield, Towamencin, Montgomery and Upper Gwynedd townships. Methamphetamine was recovered from a motorcycle repair shop in Lansdale, according to the report, just one of many locations where police executed a search warrant. One of those arrested in charged with drug violations include Ronald Krauss, owner of Bad Ronald's Custom Tattooing in Lansdale.
