Pennsylvania State Police Briefs: Crash in Perkiomen Township, Reported Theft
A police report does not indicate a conviction. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Two Green Lane residents were taken to Phoenixville Hospital for evaluations following a two-car crash at Gravel Pike and Ott Road in Perkiomen Township, Tuesday afternoon. According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, a Honda Accord driven by Haji Omarzai, 73, of Philadelphia, turning left onto Ott Road from Gravel Pike/Route 29. A Ford Escort, driven by Vitali Gotowchikow, 65, of Green Lane was traveling south on Gravel Pike. The Honda Accord turned in front of the Ford Escort, which struck the passenger side of the Honda, the report states. Lower Frederick EMS transported Gotowchikow and his passenger, Sharon Gotowchikow, 67, to the hospital. Norm’s Save Station and a private towing company towed the vehicles from the scene. …
