The body of a local teen was discovered along the side of a Lower Pottsgrove on Sunday afternoon, following a reported home invasion and abduction in West Pottsgrove earlier in the day. According to reports, multiple individuals armed with handguns approached the teen—identified as 19-year-old Kareem Ali Borowy— during a home invasion around 2 p.m. on Manatawny Street in West Pottsgrove and demanded cash. Borowy was then abducted from the home. Less than 30 minutes later, police say that Borowy was laying along the side of Sanatoga Station Road in Lower Pottsgrove and attempted to flag down a passing motorist; Borowy was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Authorities recovered a body from the canal in Lambertville that matches the description of Sarah Majoras.
A body found Wednesday in the canal in Lambertville matches the description of missing New Hope bartender Sarah Majoras, authorities announced. Anthony P. Kearns said investigators will work with the medical examiner's office to positively identify the body. But Kearns, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor heading the investigation into Majoras' disappearance, said officials will continue to work to discover what happened to her. "There’s nothing to indicate that there’s been foul play," Kearns said during a 6 p.m. press conference, the second of the day. He implored the public to come forward with more information that might help them determine exactly what happened to the well-loved woman, whom friends have described as sassy and strong. …

The body of a 48-year-old male was discovered this morning along the railroad tracks beneath South Charlotte Street. According to a report by the Pottstown Mercury, police responded to call from Norfolk Southern shortly before 1:30 a.m. The report states that railroad workers discovered the body "half-sitting with his back against the wall under the bridge." Police are withholding the man's identification, pending notification of his family. Though there is no evidence of foul play, the body is currently being examined by the coroner's office, according to the Mercury's report. To read more of this story, click here.
