Schwenksville Elementary School vandalized, jewelry stolen in Skippack and DUI in Upper Providence.

Elementary School Vandalized The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an incident of institutional vandalism, which occurred at the Schwenksville Elementary School. According to the report, an unknown suspect -- or suspects -- walked onto the front of the property and damaged four bollard lamps sometime between the hours of 5 p.m. on July 11 and 9 a.m. on July 12. June State Police Statistics

Skippack Barracks reports 63 criminal arrests, 23 DUI arrests, 10 DUI crashes in June

There were 1253 incidents reported for June, according to the Pennsylvania State Police, Skippack Barracks. Of the 272 criminal offenses reported, 103 cases were cleared and 63 criminal arrests were made. There were 23 DUI arrests made in the region, and 10 DUI-related crashes were reported. There were 111 crashes in the region, and seven were reported as hit-and-runs. There were 22 injuries relating to the crashes, and no fatalities. State Police gave 401 traffic citations and 672 warnings.

Theft in Salford; Criminal mischief in Skippack

Wallet Stolen The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a woman's wallet, which contained a debit card that was later used to make fraudulent purchases. According to the report, 46-year-old Marlene Langen, of Telford, visited a sports bar on North Allentown Road during the evening of June 23. When she returned home, she discovered that her wallet had been stolen, and her Visa debit card had been used to make multiple purchases.  The investigation is ongoing. Identity Theft State Police are investigating the alleged identity theft of two Lansdale residents, which was reported shortly after 12 p.m. on June 21 along the 2000-block of Hillcrest Drive in Worcester Township. According to the report, 42-year-old Lee Koch was contacted by Detective Geckle of the Upper Merion Police Department, regarding a retired NYPD officer who was scammed out of money by a website titled www.koch-financial.com. The website allegedly listed the address of Koch's father, Stanton, as the point of contact, but Koch informed officers that his father …

It has been 4 days now and still no money. When I call these ladies, my phone number is blocked and wont go thru. I have sent numerous emails and still no reply. Identity Theft State Police are investigating the identity theft of a 36-year-old Telford woman. According to the report, the victim's identifying information was fraudulently obtained, then used to make purchases at a location on Ridge Road in Salford Township at midnight on June 10. Royersford Man Charged With DUI A Royersford man has been charged with DUI, following a traffic stop at the intersection of Walnut Street and Main Street in Limerick Township.
