Mike Vereb Wins Re-Election to Fourth Term

The Republican state Rep. outpaced Democratic challenger Kelly Devine in the 150th District.

With all precincts reporting, Republican. Mike Vereb is leading Democratic challenger Kelly Devine with 54.29% of the vote to win a fourth term as Pennsylvania state Representative in the 150th District. "I am very happy with all the support and I look forward to serving happily and effectively for the next two years," Vereb reportedly told The Times Herald. Devine, a Norristown resident and first-time candidate, told the Herald that she was proud of her campaign. "I campaigned full-time on top of my full-time job," Devine reportedly said. "I just wanted to bring attention to a lot of important issues in the district." Kelly Devine was ill-served by the Democratic Structure which allowed Paul Drucker to run and get hammered by the 422 issue in the next district. There were - and still are - a number of issues the Democrats could have mined for her if they were serious about this race and not looking for a sacrificial lamb to fill a gap.   more ›
