Bird and Wildlife Festival Happening Saturday
Montgomery County Parks and Heritage Services and Audubon Pennsylvania will hold the event Saturday on Green Lane Park.
Residents are invited to celebrate nature and the outdoors, while enjoying live animals, crafts, games for kids, native plants, vendor booths and more at the 3rd Annual Bird and Widlife Festival at Green Lane Park on Saturday.
“This event is getting bigger and better each year and is great for people of all ages and families,” said Rich Wood, Regional Manager for the county department. “Not only will people see live birds and other animals, but learn how they can be better stewards of their own backyard.”
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m., and parking is free. The park is located at 2144 Snyder Road in Green Lane; any questions should be directed to ssaffier@audubon.org.
