Lane Closures on 422 East Next Week

The closures will begin at the Trooper Road interchange.

The following was provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education:

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that lane restrictions are scheduled next week on eastbound U.S. Route 422 in West Norriton and Upper Merion townships, Montgomery County, for drainage improvement and pavement patching operations, respectively.

On Tuesday through Thursday (Jan. 14-16), lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound Route 422 between I-76 and Route 363 (Trooper Road) in West Norriton and Upper Merion townships from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement patching.

During the operation, motorists are advised to be alert and to expect lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. The operation is dependent on the weather.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
