Skippack Fire Co. Event, MontCo Sheriff Brigade Meeting This Week
It will be a busy week in the Perkiomen Valley - check out what is happening in town.
On Monday at 7 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff Brigade will meet at the True North Christian Church on Route 113.
A fundraiser will be held Monday at the Honeybrook Golf Course to help Royersford veteran Josh Schutt to get a service dog on Monday night. Schutt served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and traumatic brain injury.
On Tuesday, a senior project scientist for the Hubble Space Telescope will present a free lecture at Ursinus College, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Kaleidoscope Performing Art Center’s Lenfest Theater.

On Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., the Community Club of Collegeville will meet at Augustus Lutheran Church.

The Skippack Township meeting normally scheduled for Wednesday was held on Oct. 2 due to attendance issues; there will be no meeting this week.
On Thursday, the Skippack Fire Company Fire Prevention and Open House will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the fire house, located at 1230 Bridge Road. There will be a fire prevention playhouse, refreshments, and more.
On Thursday, Schwenksville Borough Council will meet at Borough Hall on Main Street.
