Brownie Troop Donates Books to Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy

Organization lost hundreds of tomes due to Hurricane Irene flooding.

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy submitted the following information:

Brownie Girl Scout Troop #7105 of Schwenksville visited the , Thursday, March 15, to drop off a donation of 65 books for the Conservancy’s Children’s Library. 

The third-grade members of the troop collected books for the Conservancy after hearing that we had suffered the loss of 500 books in the .

The Conservancy thanks leaders Debby McFarland and Jules Cosenza and the members of Troop #7105 for their hard work and generosity! The books that they donated will be enjoyed by children who visit the Conservancy for many years to come.
