Spaces Still Available ‘Camp Salamander’ at Green Lane Park

This summer, Montgomery County is inviting students who have completed grades two through six to a hands-on environmental learning day camp at Camp Salamander.

According to the county, spaces are still available for Camp Salamander at Green Lane Park, which will take place from July 15 – 19, 9 a.m. to noon each day. The camp will focus on different environmental topics, including stream life, insects, birds, mammals and trees. Healthy snacks and a nature craft will be provided, as well as an official “Camp Salamander” tee-shirt.

The cost of the camp is $50 per student, and full payment is due at the time of registration. A registration document is available  to view and print in the media section of this article or online at http://www.montcopa.org/DocumentCenter/View/3426.

Completed forms can be dropped off at the Green Lane Park office or mailed to Green Lane Park at 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane.
