Perk Valley Youth Sports Registration Deadlines

Your guide to spring youth sports in the Perkiomen Valley.

 

Registration for several Perkiomen Valley youth sports leagues opened in the beginning of the year, and will close by mid-February.

Here is a list of leagues, and information on registering. Anyone wishing to post additional information on youth leagues can post an announcement on Patch, and will be linked to this post.

Lower Perk Little League, Softball, Tee Ball and Senior League

Lower Perkiomen Little League baseball and softball registration runs until Feb. 17.

All players between from the age of four through high school who live within the Lower Perkiomen boundaries are invited to play in the Lower Perkiomen Little League, with varying costs of registration, ranging from $85 to $160.

The age cutoff for baseball is April 30 of this year; the cutoff for softball is Dec. 31 of 2012.

One of the league's fields is Palmer Park, which has undergone some renovations for 2013 this season, highlighted on the LPLL website.  

Central Perkiomen Youth Association – Baseball and Softball

Registration for Central Perkiomen Baseball and Softball runs through Feb. 15.

The registration price ranges from $85 to $100, and can include family discounts.

The Central Perk baseball complex is located on Cemetery Road, just off of Township Line Road, in Schwenksville.

Perkiomen Valley Legion Baseball

Perkiomen Valley Legion Baseball’s goal is “to create a program that attracks the best baseball players in the Perkiomen Valley School District and help them improve,” according to the league’s website.

Players ages 13 through 19 are invited to learn more about the program at a meeting on Jan. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Perkiomen Valley High School in room 140. Online registration is also available.

A $50 deposit is required, but is refundable if the player does not make the team after tryouts.

Perkiomen Valley Youth Girls Lacrosse

Registration for Perkiomen Valley Girls Lacrosse is open through February 15 for all girls in first through eighth grades.

Perkiomen Valley Youth Boys Lacrosse

All boys in grades three through eight are invited to register for Perkiomen Valley Boys Lacrosse.

The base registration cost is $160, and the deadline to register is Jan. 25.
