The Perkiomen Valley Vikings beat the Methacton Warriors 44-41 in the PAC-10 Men's Basketball Championship on Feb. 12.
The Spring-Ford High School gymnasium was filled with shades of orange, brown, green and white as the long-time rivals faced off in the Pioneer Liberty Conference.
The Methacton Warriors (20-4) won their first PAC-10 title last year with a one-point victory over Spring-Ford, and the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (17-7) were back in the Final Four after a five-year absence, and won 14 of their last 15 games, according to The Mercury.
In Final Four Games last Sunday, Perkiomen beat Pope John Paul II 65-52, while Methacton beat Phoenixville 53-51.
In December, Methacton beat PV 64-48, and in January they eked out a closer win of 41-39.
