Meanwhile in the trail parking lot on E. Third Ave. next to DaVinci’s Pub, the Holiday Bazaar opens.  Non-racers can enjoy searching for unique gifts and partake of the hot mid-afternoon barbeque and hot and cold refreshments served up by the volunteers of the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation.

From 4 to 6 p.m.  those attending can enjoy carol singing and the gifted performers of The Community Music School and The Dance Depot, along with other local musical talent. Those attending can also show off their wild and wacky pitching skills in the fun Snowball Throw Contest in the trail parking lot, and take part in a holiday-themed competition for a $100 gift certificate from PNC Bank.  And for those who were gifted undesirable outerwear, we have the perfect contest for you--The Ugly Sweater Contest!  Contestants can register at the event, and winners will be selected by the crowd and a prize will be awarded.

From 5 to 5:15 p.m. magically, Santa Arrives down Main Street in his sleigh from the North Pole!

At 5:30 p.m. Santa lights the Collegeville Tree!
