Collegeville Yoga Bar Celebrates Grand Opening In the Collegeville Shopping Center

Collegeville Yoga Bar classes are tailored to students at all skill levels

Collegeville, PA (February 12, 2013) -- When owner/instructor Stefania Davidse was introduced to yoga, she was instantly hooked.  And as a part-time teacher at Methacton School District, she already had mastered the skills she needed to instruct.  Once she earned her yoga teaching credentials at Frog Lotus Yoga in Massachusetts, and after she had taught evening yoga classes at the LA Fitness facility in Providence Town Center, she knew she was ready to open her own studio.

Collegeville Yoga Bar classes are tailored to students at all skill levels.  The studio offers a variety of yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative—and beginners need not worry.  “We’re not just a Power Yoga, or a Hatha Yoga studio that offers only one kind of yoga.  The styles are somewhat similar but they’re geared to people of different ability levels, so that everyone—adults and kids-- can find something that works for them,” says Stefania.

Stefania will work to find the right match of yoga for each person to insure that they enjoy each class at their level and for their particular needs. Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic sequence of postures that synchronize movement with breath and integrates awareness and alignment.  Hatha Yoga is a slower yoga practice that emphasizes posture alignment and enhances muscle tone, flexibility and a peaceful mind.  Restorative Yoga is a supported, conscious mind and body relaxation practice which uses blankets, blocks and bolsters to relax and open the body. It is beneficial for conditions such as insomnia, asthma, chronic pain, migraines and depression.

And Collegeville Yoga Bar offers more than just yoga:  Stefania is also introducing Collegeville area residents to the latest fitness craze—the ballet barre.  “The ballet barre class has become one of the most popular Collegeville Yoga Bar offerings,” Stefania says.  “The barre offers an excellent workout by toning your muscles without making you bulky.  So you are building strength while staying lean.”

Classes are convenient and affordable, and are geared to both adults and children.  There are classes throughout the day and evening, seven days a week.  Cost of a drop-in class is only $15, and for students with ID it is only $10.  A Ten Pack of Classes is a bargain at $100.  Monthly membership options are also available, with the least expensive one at $45 per month. Classes are offered for children starting at age 3 and going up to age 18.
