SHS to Hold Living History Event This Weekend
The Skippack Historical Society will hold a living history event commemorating General Washington's Military Encampment.
The Skippack Historical Society will hold a living history event, Washington's Encampent, at the IdenHofen Farmstead over the weekend of Oct. 13, according to recent post in I Love Skippack featuring musician Gabe Schick, AKA The Tune Dude.
The event, held from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday, will feature soliders, camp followers, period toys, Betsy Ross, open hearth cooking, basket making, historical house tours, food, an artifact collection, and much more.
IdenHofen Farmstead is located at Skippack Pike & Evansburg Road in Skippack.
