Regional Sewer Authority Replaces Engineering Firm

The authority is currently working to complete the middle interceptor of a new sewer system.

At a special meeting on Wednesday, the Lower Perkiomen Valley Regional Sewer Authority (LPVRSA) replaced its engineering firm.

Staff said that Gilmore & Associates of Trappe would replace Bursich Associates of Pottstown, who have worked with the authority on the location of the controversial middle interceptor placement along the Perkiomen Creek near the Arcola Bridge.

“There was much discussion on the change and LPVRSA appreciates the services of Bursich Associates Inc.,”  LPVRSA manager Barbara Ann Cepko said, according to the Times Herald. “The board decided to make the change.”
