Perk Valley Bridges to be Repaired by County

Bridges in Lower Frederick and Salford, among others, will be fixed in the next four years.

Multiple structurally deficient bridges in the Perkiomen Valley will be repaired by Montgomery County over the next four years.

Bridges to be repaired include Simmons Road over the Scioto Creek in Lower Frederick, Old Sumneytown Pike over the Perkiomen Creek in Upper Salford; Green Lane Road over Deep Creek in Upper Frederick, King Road over Valley Ridge Creek in Salford and Bergey Mill Road over Perkiomen Creek in Lower Salford, according to the Times Herald.

The repairs will be paid for by the county’s capital budget, or by Act 44, Marcellus Shale Legacy or PennDOT funds.
