The National park Service is seeking proposals to run event businesses out of two historic buildings — the Philander Chase Knox House and the Kennedy Supplee Mansion — in the Valley Forge National Park.

The Philander Chase Knox House and grounds located on Yellow Springs Road near the intersection of State Route 252 is up for lease as a private event venue for a five-year term.
According to the NPS, part of the home serves as a library, accessible only by appointment, and the rest of the home is empty. Federal funds are not available for the estate's preservation or maintenance.
