Lower Frederick Township Offers Ways to Get In Shape

Are you trying to keep that New Year's resolution? The township can help.

Are you trying to stay fit? Are you looking for a new way to get in shape? The Lower Frederick Township Parks and Recreation Department has a few tips to help you out.

The township is currently offering a yoga and meditation course for area residents. The cost for the eight-week session pack is just $25. Alternatively, guests may drop in to try out a single class for just $5.

The yoga classes are held each Wednesday night through March 6. They are held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lower Frederick Township Building.

If the weekends are more your free time for working out, the township also has a Stretch and Fit session running for any age to join.

From 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., the township building plays host to the course which will also run for eight weeks through March 6. The cost is the same, $25 for the full session or just $5 per drop-in single class.
