Lower Frederick Planning Commission Seeks New Member

Applications are due to the Lower Frederick Township Building before Dec. 7.

 

The Lower Frederick Township Planning Commission must fill a vacancy in January of 2013, and is asking interested parties to apply.

The township’s planning commission is responsible for reviewing all applications pertaining to zonings, and makes recommendations to the board of supervisors.

Recent matters in front of the board include the Old Gravel Pike Bridge, the commercial vehicle parking ordinance, and Lower Frederick’s sign ordinance.

Planning commission meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the township building.

Any interested Lower Frederick resident should send in a letter of interest along with a list of qualifications to the township building.
