Gun Violence Prevention Rally Planned in Trappe
The event will be held at noon Wednesday.
Roughly 30 area residents will join Organizing for America - Pennsylvania (OFA-PA) in front of the Trappe office of Rep. Jim Gerlach (R-06), located on Main Street, to urge the representative to support legislation "that will keep guns out of dangerous hands."
The group will gather around noon at the office, located at 580 Main Street.
According to the organization, Gerlach "can be a part of the solution" by co-sponsoring H.R. 1565, the Second Amendment Rights Protection Act of 2013, to make sure the bipartisan gun violence prevention bill moves forward in Congress.
