County Officials Seek Input on Child Welfare Budget

The Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth and Juvenile Probation Office will hold a public hearing on Aug. 1 to obtain input on the development on the 2013-2014 Child Welfare Needs Based Plan and Budget.

The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at the Community Room of the Montgomery County Human Services Center, located at 1430 DeKalb Street in Norristown.

The budget request will be submitted by Aug. 15 to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Children, Youth and Families; anyone with comments can also submit them in writing to Laurie O’Connor, director of the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth.
