Collegeville Council Members Sworn In

Incumbents were sworn in, along with Catherine Kernen, who is returning to the board.

Newly-elected Collegeville Borough Council member Catherine Kernen was sworn in to her seat Monday night, along with incumbents Arnold Mann, Rowan Keenan, Rod Rees, Mayor Albert Stagliano and Tax Collector Kelly Taylor.

Kernen, who previously served on council from 1998 to 2000 and 2004 to 2005 is the board's lone Democrat; she beat Republican incumbent Paul MacDonald in November's election.

The swearing-in was administered by Collegeville Borough Council Secretary Kathy McFadden.

Board president Terrie Stagliano was re-elected to the post; the board elected Hugh Braun as its vice president.
