The event will support a member in need.

The Trappe Fire Co. will hold a beef and beer on Oct. 19 to benefit a volunteer firefighter whose wife is battling cystic fibrosis.

The event, to begin at 7 p.m. at the Fire Company hall at 20 W Fifth Ave., will feature dinner, drinks and a DJ for a $30 donation.
