Three Graterford Visitors Arrested After Drug Bust

Visitors from Philadelphia were arrested and charged with drug possession, paraphernalia and contraband before visiting an inmate in Skippack.

Three Philadelphia residents were arrested after drugs and paraphernalia were found in their vehicle at Graterford Prison, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Dawn Marie Brummett, 33, Brittany Kee, 22, and Rocca Michael Mirra, 42, all of Philadelphia, arrived at Graterford SCI prison on Dec. 11 around 10:30 a.m. to visit an inmate and had their vehicle searched before entering prison grounds.

As part of the routine search, prison guards discovered drugs and paraphernalia in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to the police.

Brummett, Kee and Mirra were all charged with second-degree felony charges of contraband and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.  Brummett was also charged with two misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance.

All three defendants are currently in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, after being unable to post $5,000 in bail.
