Thefts, Drug Sale Top June Perkiomen Police Reports

There were 88 police incidents in Perkiomen Township during the month of June, and 13 fire incidents, including Perkiomen Township' first fire loss of the year.

The Perkiomen Township Board of Supervisors released the township's monthly Pennsylvania State Police reports for June, which included 88 incidents.

There was one report on drug sale and manufacture and one simple assault reported in the township, police said.

There were five disturbances and five domestic incidents in the township, as well as one suspicious vehicle and one suspicious person, according to police.

There was one report of theft form a motor vehicle, one theft of a motor vehicle, and two thefts by unlawful taking reported in the township, police said.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, there were ten collisions in Perkiomen Township over the month of June, and one report of debris on the roadway.

The Perkiomen Township Fire Marshall reported its first fire loss for the year out of 79 incidents; the vehicle fire on Buyers and Brewster Road in the township had an estimated loss of $57,000.

Other fire reports including service at a traffic light at Gravel Pike and Rahns Road, and accident with injures on Dieber Road, help at the fireworks on Limerick Road, visits to Community Day and the MOMs Club, and four false alarms.
