Skippack Motorcycle Crash Sends One To Hospital

The victim, identified as Hugh Boyle, of Norristown, was taken to the hospital following last week's crash in Skippack.

A Norristown man was taken to Hahnemann Hospital with unknown injuries last Tuesday, after his motorcycle rear-ended another vehicle while traveling westbound on Route 73 in Skippack.

According to the police report, 70-year-old Hugh Boyle, of Norristown, was riding his 2004 Honda motorcycle westbound on Route 73 in Skippack on the night of July 31, when he rear-ended a 2002 Audi A6, which had come to a complete stop along the 4000-block of Skippack Pike. Following the crash, Boyle fell off of his motorcycle, which remained at the point of impact.

Neither the driver, nor the passengers of the Audi were injured in the incident, but Boyle was taken to Hahnemann Hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
