Skippack Man Admits to Home Improvement Fraud

Cyrus Cross, 40, faces up to seven years in prison for the Lower Merion fraud.

A Skippack man admitted that he failed to complete a Lower Merion home improvement project for which he was paid in full.

Cyrus Cross, 40, of the 4000 block of Harmon Court, pleaded guilty to home improvement fraud after the 2011 incident, according to the Times Herald.

Cross faces up to seven years in prison in connection with the fraud, which occurred after he was paid $18,000 for a variety of improvements on a Panorama Road home, including building a backyard pond, replacing windows, patio door and laundry room, and more.

In the plea, Cross admitted that he received advanced payment for the services and did not provide them, according to the Main Line Times.
